A French tourist has been arrested in connection with the drone strikes on the parliament building in Nay Pyodor, Myanmar. On Monday, the French Embassy in Myanmar local police confirmed the authenticity of this information. The information was reported in the AFP report of the news agency. If convicted, the person can be up to three years in prison.

Police said Arthur Disklu (27) was named after him. He was trying to run the drone over the government building, which is illegal under Myanmar law. Myanmar court has sentenced three tourists and their driver to jail in similar cases in 2017.
